Vacation Bible School 2011 - July 11,12,14,15 and 16
VBS at the Aboriginal Frienship Centre
August 23, 2008. After five days of fun-filled activities from singing songs, crafts, Bible stories, and more, the graduation day has arrived. Many children from toddlers to teens attended and participated in this first-of-its-kind Vacation Bible School. With the leadership of Elder Limwell Ramada of the Fraser Valley church, this initiative has become a reality. We thank God that He can work in people of diverse ethnicity and cultures. The Vancouver church is glad to extend a helping hand in this event.
Children from the neighborhood and friends attend the VBS
VBS Extended!Sabbath, August 16, 2008, around 3 pm found a group of our selected Pathfinders, Adventurers, parents, friends and elders Ed Flores and Ed Subade, excited to help out in the distribution of VBS invitations around the neighborhood of East Hastings Street. The group has been blessed as they handed out invitations to strangers, both young and old, inserted leaflets into parked vehicles and doorsteps, as well as in mailslots and front gates of various houses.

It was a joint venture with our Fraser Valley Adventist Church brethren led by Elder Limwell Ramada, whose outreach mission project is the First Nations group. Carolyn Bugge, elder of the First Nations SDA Church, is very appreciative and supportive of our project. Loveza Tarango has enthusiastically empathized with this mission and has volunteered to lead out the VBS with the theme, "Royal Adventure to learn about the character of God through Kings and Queens of the Bible". It is being held at the Aboriginal Friendship Center at 1607 East Hastings Street in Vancouver (August 18-22, 5-8 pm).Everyone is invited to come and be in the presence of royalty. This is sure to be the adventure of a lifetime.
